# Privacy Policy

Leadtactiks is a freelance Adobe Marketo Engage consultancy for B2B teams, run by Dave Anderson (David Anderson). We're based in Canada and work remotely. This policy explains, in plain language, what personal information we collect through leadtactiks.com, why, and what choices you have.

## What we collect

- **Contact form ("Leadtactiks - Marketo Help Request"):** your name, business email address, and the details you share about what you need help with.
- **Meeting booking:** when you book a call, your name, email address, and the meeting time you pick.
- **Website usage:** cookies and similar technologies record how you use the site, such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived.

We only collect what you choose to give us, plus basic usage data from cookies.

## Why we collect it

- To reply to your request and talk about your Marketo needs.
- To schedule and hold calls you book.
- To run the business relationship if we work together.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.

We don't sell your personal information.

## Marketing email

We don't currently send marketing emails or run an email list. If we ever do, we'll only send them with your consent, as Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) requires, and every message will include a way to unsubscribe.

## Cookies

The site uses HubSpot cookies for analytics, forms and meeting booking. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features, such as the form or booking tool, may not work properly without them.

## Who helps us handle your information

- **HubSpot:** hosts the website, form, meeting booking and analytics, and stores the contact information you submit.
- **Google (Google Workspace):** provides our email and calendar, so messages you send us, replies we send, and meetings you book (which sync to our Google Calendar) are handled by Google.

These providers process information on our behalf to deliver their services.

## Where your information is stored

Your information is stored with HubSpot and Google, whose servers may be outside Canada, including in the United States. Information stored in another country is subject to that country's laws and may be accessible to its authorities.

## How long we keep it

We keep your information as long as we need it for our business relationship, or to answer your enquiry. You can ask us to delete it at any time, and we'll do so unless we're required to keep it.

## Your rights

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you can:

- ask to see the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct it if it's wrong;
- withdraw your consent to our use of it (which may mean we can't keep helping you); and
- complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada ([priv.gc.ca](https://www.priv.gc.ca/)) if you're unhappy with how we handled your information.
